Training Management

Our Training Management service covers the following areas:

  • Management of your training budget in support of business objectives.
  • Working with you to establish the strategic role and aims of training.

  • Agreement of training method - "on the job" training, distance learning, coaching, mentoring, on-line learning, external courses.
  • Assessment and selection of external providers using agreed criteria, and passing on negotiated discounts to clients.
  • Development of Competence Frameworks for regulated firms.
  • Management of CPD for those required by professional institutes.

Our Training Administration service covers the following areas:

  • The booking of courses and venues with selected providers and the sending out of joining instructions to delegates.
  • Liaising with providers/delegates regarding bookings, cancellations and replacements.
  • Authorisation of courses and invoices for payment.
  • Maintenance and updating of training budgets once agreed.
  • Production of regular training reports for operational and strategic reporting.
  • Liaison with line managers regarding strategic priorities for training, non-attendances etc.
  • A follow-up with delegates and providers for post-course evaluation and chasing them for feedback/reports. We complete evaluation reports which summarise delegates' feedback.
  • Updating of training records, including CPD records.

How we charge

We normally charge an agreed monthly retainer fee based on staff headcount and the volume of work undertaken. There is also an alternative of 'pay as you go' or 'hours based' charging whilst you build a clear view about the volume of demand etc.
